Occupy Wall Street is the embryo of a true grassroots movement that has the potential to develop serious clout over the next few election cycles. One of the wonderful things about real grassroots movements (in contrast to AstroTurf movements funded by corporate America) is that they are fluid. Hopelessness pisses me off. This is the deal. The economic woes of the 21st century are fixable. All of them. Poverty, lack of access to health care, income inequality, markets that are in constant flux, even many of the effects of global warming. The only things lacking in the ingredients list are political will and leadership.

Dictionary.com defines terrorism as ‘the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.’ Some definitions (notably Merriam-Webster) add the qualifier ‘systematic’, which in my opinion decreases rather than increases clarity, as the definition of ‘systematic’ is itself fluid.
