I wrote the beginnings of what was becoming a long article about Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy, put it aside for a few days, and woke up this morning and realized what was bothering me. It wasn’t the violence in those two shows per se that was bothering me, it was the utter contempt for women. Misogyny. Sure, Gemma is strong, but she’s an ‘old lady’ and has to sneak around to get anything done. Okay, both in their prime, who wins:  Jackie Chan or Jet Li?   For reference —   Jackie Chan:     Jet Li:     Me, I’ll take the clown prince of Kung Fu any day.  Any man who can kick ass and make you laugh simultaneously is freaking awesome!
