In the workplace, we are told, and in polite company, ‘some topics’ should not be brought up. This often includes sex, personal politics, and religion, and often money as well. To me, these are some of the more important and interesting topics available to human beings, but I also understand the concerns of those who think that these discussions should be situational. It is almost certainly going to be overturned in court.  Several laws were violated in the passage of the bill, not least of which were state open meetings laws. The anti-union vote has stirred up a hornets nest of union support not seen for decades.  Note to GOP wordmeisters: Calling kindergarten teachers and nurses “thugs” is not very useful.  This hornets nest is already working on recall petitions for all eligible GOP Senators.
