Monday (Photo credit: Dai Rui)

I am in the middle of a bout of depression that hit me like a summer storm and knocked tree limbs all over the yard.  I’m going to take my own advice from parts one and two of How To Cope With Depression and take the weekend off from writing.

There’s no need to worry— I’ve been here before and I’ll be here again.  Depression is an old ratty blanket that I never can quite throw away, because it’s a part of me.  I’ll be back Monday stronger and ready to start entertaining you with all the stories that are dancing in my head waiting for me to have the energy to write them.

In the meantime, a little happy music:

Okay, I lied. James Taylor is almost never ‘happy’ music. But this song never fails to cheer me up.

I’ll be back to building happiness in your life and mine on Monday. Have a great weekend!
